The Global
Summit for Men and Boys

Manifest is the inaugural Global Summit for Men and Boys. Delivered in the UK by CPRMB in partnership with the American Institute for Boys and Men. Keynotes: Richard Reeves and Scott Galloway.

Four boys shoulder to shoulder
Edition OneShoulder to shoulder.

About the summit

Manifest is the inaugural Global Summit for Men and Boys. Delivered in the UK by the Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys (CPRMB) in partnership with the American Institute for Boys and Men (AIBM).

Awareness of the challenges facing men and boys now sits across politics, policy, education and the newsrooms, and in sports clubs, youth organisations, workplaces, pubs and living rooms. Richard Reeves' Of Boys and Men, Sir Gareth Southgate's Dimbleby Lecture and Netflix's Adolescence are signs of that conversation gaining traction.

There has been no summit for the people and organisations doing the real and meaningful work. Manifest convenes them to connect, discuss, share and progress.

“The people working with men and boys in this country and elsewhere do serious work, largely on their own and without sufficient sight of one another. Manifest, delivered with our partners at the American Institute for Boys and Men, is the sector’s first shared global platform.”
Nick Isles · Director, Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys
“The evidence on outcomes for boys and men, in education, mental health and early mortality, is now clear enough on both sides of the Atlantic that the argument has moved from whether to what. Manifest brings the people best placed to answer that question together. AIBM is a partner in it because the work is transatlantic and international and the fields on either side need to move in parallel.”
Richard Reeves · President, American Institute for Boys and Men

Shoulder to shoulder

The moment

Awareness of the challenges facing men and boys is no longer marginal. Richard Reeves' Of Boys and Men, Sir Gareth Southgate's Richard Dimbleby Lecture and Netflix's Adolescence are visible cultural landmarks in a shift that now runs across politics, policy, education and the newsrooms. The awareness this field spent decades asking for has arrived.

The problem

But the sector doesn't meet itself. Practitioners run programmes in schools, prisons, refuges and A&E departments, and never sit down with the researchers who publish on their work. Researchers rarely meet the funders who write the cheques. Funders back hunches without policymakers in the room. Policymakers read the evidence years after it mattered.

Everyone works on the same subject. Almost none of them meet. A national conversation has started. The national effort hasn't.

The insight

This field knows something the rest of the country keeps forgetting: men rarely open up face to face. They open up shoulder to shoulder. Side by side, hands busy, eyes on the same job. It's why the Shed works. Why the touchline works. Why the walking group works.

Manifest applies the sector's own method to the sector itself. Not another conference of podiums facing an audience. A working room where the whole field stands side by side and faces the same ten challenges.

The summit

One day. One room. All four constituencies. The practitioners who deliver the work, the researchers who test it, the policymakers who scale it and the funders who back it. 17 June 2027, QEII Centre, Westminster. Edition One.

The promise

Manifest ends in agreements, not applause. What the room decides is written down, signed and published as the Accord, then read back, line by line, when the room reassembles at Edition Two.

That's the name doing its job. The crisis is now manifest. The people are on the manifest. The work is to make change manifest.

With women and girls

This is a both/and movement. Figures for women and girls appear in our work for context, never competition. A country can raise its men and boys at the same time as it raises its women and girls. Standing shoulder to shoulder means everyone.

Lines that carry it

The sector doesn't meet itself. Manifest is where it does.
Men open up shoulder to shoulder. So does a sector.
One day. One room. The whole field.
Agreements, not applause.
You're on the manifest.

Manifest: The Global Summit for Men and Boys

Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. Who we are

Manifest: The Global Summit for Men and Boys ("Manifest") is convened by the Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys ("CPRMB"), a charitable incorporated organisation registered in England and Wales, charity number 1215012, company number CE041320, registered office 2 Dean Trench Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3HE.

Ticketing for Manifest Edition One is operated by Exposure Communications Ltd ("Exposure"), a company registered in England and Wales, which sells and invoices delegate tickets and exhibitor packages through the Ticket Tailor platform, and manages the connected Ticket Tailor account.

CPRMB and Exposure act as joint controllers for personal information collected through the booking process and used to deliver and promote the Event. Each is responsible for the parts of the processing it carries out, and the split of responsibilities is set out in section 5. CPRMB is the single point of contact for anyone wishing to exercise the rights set out in section 9.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit manifest-event.com, book a delegate ticket or exhibitor package, correspond with us, or attend the Event. It also explains what we do with that information, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

3. Information we collect

When you book a ticket or exhibitor package we collect your name, email address, organisation, role, country, and the annual turnover band you self-declare for pricing tier eligibility. We collect access requirements and dietary requirements if you choose to share them. We collect billing information required to complete your purchase, which is handled by our ticketing and payment providers rather than stored by us. We collect your marketing preferences.

When you correspond with us we collect the content of your correspondence and any information you choose to include.

When you attend the Event we collect attendance data (badge scan on arrival and, where applicable, at session entry) and photographic and video footage of the day. Section 6 covers filming and photography in full.

When you visit manifest-event.com our servers and analytics providers collect standard technical information such as IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed and referring site. Section 10 covers cookies.

4. How we use your information and the lawful basis

We use your information to:

5. Who we share your information with

We share your information with the following categories of processor and partner, only to the extent needed for the purposes above:

As between CPRMB and Exposure, Exposure is responsible for the transactional data held on the ticketing platform (booking record, payment details, invoicing and refunds). CPRMB is responsible for delegate data used to plan and deliver the programme, communicate with delegates, and produce post-event content. Both entities are bound to handle personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with sponsors, exhibitors or other delegates without your consent. No sponsor or exhibitor package includes delegate contact data.

6. Filming and photography at the Event

Manifest is a professionally filmed and photographed event. Video and stills captured on the day are used by CPRMB in post-event content, on manifest-event.com, on social channels, in press coverage and in future Manifest marketing. By attending you acknowledge that you may appear in this footage.

If you do not wish to appear in filmed or photographed material, please tell us in advance at privacy@manifest-event.com or on arrival at the registration desk. We will provide a visible marker and brief the camera team, and we will remove identifiable footage of you from post-event material where reasonably practicable. We will also act on objections made to us after the Event, on the same basis.

Where any speaker, panellist or contributor at the Event is under 18, we will not use identifiable footage of them without the written consent of a parent or guardian, and we will not name them without that same consent.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep booking records for seven years to meet accounting and tax obligations. We keep marketing contact records until you unsubscribe, and for a reasonable period after that to prevent re-marketing to you. We keep event photography and video indefinitely as a record of the Event, subject to the objection route in section 6. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer any follow-up.

8. International transfers

Some of our processors are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as appropriate.

9. Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct information that is wrong, to ask us to delete information where the law allows, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive certain information in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@manifest-event.com. CPRMB is the single point of contact for data subject requests and will coordinate with Exposure where the request concerns transactional data. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

By completing a booking you agree to these terms on your own behalf and on behalf of anyone whose place you book.

2. The organiser

Manifest is organised by the Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys ("CPRMB", "we", "us", "our"), a charitable incorporated organisation registered in England and Wales, charity number 1215012, company number CE041320, registered office 2 Dean Trench Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3HE.

3. The event

Edition One of Manifest takes place on Thursday 17 June 2027 at the QEII Centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE. The programme and speakers are those advertised on manifest-event.com at the time of booking and may be updated as set out in section 11.

4. Booking a ticket

Delegate tickets are sold through our ticketing platform Ticket Tailor at manifest-event.com. Your booking is confirmed when Ticket Tailor issues an order confirmation to the email address you provide. Please check the confirmation on receipt and tell us within 48 hours if any detail is wrong.

Tickets are personal to the named delegate on the booking. Section 6 covers substitution.

5. Pricing tiers and eligibility

Delegate and exhibitor prices are set by turnover tier, using an annual turnover of £500,000 as the boundary between the two tiers. You self-declare your organisation's turnover tier at the point of booking. Registered Charities and CICs on the upper tier receive a discount as shown at checkout.

We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence of the turnover you have declared. If evidence is not provided within 14 days of a written request, or if the evidence does not support the declared tier, we may reclassify your booking to the correct tier and invoice the difference. If you do not pay the difference within 14 days of that invoice, we may cancel your booking without refund.

6. Payment, refunds and substitution

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT. VAT at the applicable rate is added at checkout where chargeable and is accounted for by CPRMB.

Payment is taken in full at the point of booking, by card, through Stripe as payment processor via Ticket Tailor. Ticket revenue is collected by Exposure Communications acting as payment agent for CPRMB under a written agency arrangement, and is remitted to CPRMB. Your ticket contract is with CPRMB.

Tickets are non-refundable from the point of purchase.

Tickets are transferable. You may substitute a named colleague or nominee in place of the original delegate at any time up to the start of the event, at no additional charge, by emailing bookings@manifest-event.com with the substitute's full name, email, organisation and role. The substitute is bound by these terms and by the pricing tier of the original booking.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

7. Exhibitor packages

Exhibitor packages are subject to a separate exhibitor pack and booking form supplied by CPRMB, and the terms of that pack apply in addition to these terms. Where there is a conflict, the exhibitor pack prevails on stand, artwork, deliverables and installation; these terms prevail on payment, cancellation and liability.

8. Access and dietary requirements

We ask for access and dietary requirements at the point of booking so we can make reasonable adjustments and brief the venue and caterer. Please give us as much notice as possible. Requirements notified less than 14 days before the event cannot be guaranteed.

9. Code of conduct

Manifest is a professional gathering for the sector working with men and boys. We ask all delegates, exhibitors, speakers and guests to conduct themselves with respect for others. We reserve the right to refuse entry, or to remove from the venue without refund, any person whose behaviour is threatening, harassing, discriminatory, disruptive or unsafe, or who is in breach of the QEII Centre's own rules.

10. Filming and photography

Manifest is professionally filmed and photographed. Footage is used by CPRMB in post-event content, on manifest-event.com, on social channels, in press coverage and in future Manifest marketing. By attending you acknowledge that you may appear in this footage.

Delegates who do not wish to appear should follow the objection route in the Privacy Policy, section 6.

Delegates and exhibitors may take personal photographs. Commercial filming or photography by anyone other than CPRMB's own suppliers requires our written consent in advance.

11. Programme changes

The programme, speakers and running order are those advertised at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change any element of the programme where it is reasonably necessary to do so. Where a change is material, we will notify booked delegates by email as soon as reasonably practicable. A change to the programme is not grounds for refund.

12. Cancellation or postponement by us, and force majeure

If we cancel the event, booked delegates will be offered either a full refund of the ticket price paid, or a transfer of the booking to a rescheduled date.

If we postpone the event to a later date, bookings automatically transfer to the new date. Delegates who cannot attend the new date may request a refund of the ticket price paid, within 14 days of the postponement being announced.

We are not liable for travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred by delegates in connection with a cancellation or postponement.

If we are prevented from delivering the event, in whole or in part, by an event outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to fire, flood, adverse weather, industrial action, act of terrorism, epidemic, act of a public authority, or failure of the venue or a key supplier), we will notify delegates as soon as reasonably practicable and act reasonably in the circumstances. Refunds in force majeure circumstances will be made where reasonably possible after settlement of unavoidable third-party costs.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with your booking and attendance is limited to the ticket price you paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for loss of profit or business opportunity, or for loss or damage to personal property brought to the venue.

Speakers, exhibitors and other third parties present views and content as their own. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of any third-party contribution.

14. Intellectual property

The Manifest name, wordmark, strapline "Shoulder to Shoulder", event content produced by or for CPRMB, and all material on manifest-event.com are owned by CPRMB or licensed to it. You may not reproduce, adapt or use any of this material for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

15. Data protection

Personal information collected in connection with your booking and attendance is handled in accordance with the Manifest Privacy Policy at manifest-event.com/privacy, which forms part of these terms.

16. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce any part of these terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your booking, and supersede any prior discussion or correspondence.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

18. Contact

For any question about a booking or these terms, email hello@manifest-event.com or write to the Manifest Team, Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys, 2 Dean Trench Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3HE.
